DP Course Options

DP | 11th - 12th Grade Course Options

Simplified Course Descriptions

DP Courses are two-year classes taken Junior & Senior year.
Selections are made in the Fall of 10th grade.
Scholars are required to pick a course from each group.
Exceptions to this rule can be discussed with IB Coordinator.
Courses are preselected in Groups 1 & 2 due to available options or as a continuation of language learning.
In addition to these course options, all students are required to take the IB DP Core class the Theory of Knowledge (TOK).
Students will sit for exams at the end of their 12th grade for each of these selected courses.

Group 1 | Language & Literature
All students take this course for their required HS English credit.

Language & Literature

Group 2 | Language Acquisition
Students stay with current 10th grade language course.
